The Effects of Substrate Size, Surface Area, and Density on Coat Thickness of Multi-Particulate Dosage Forms
PDF-Download:CAMSIZER - a tool for pharmaceutical research of drugs
Fluid bed technology is one of several approaches for the production of multi-particulate dosage forms.
Within fluid bed technology, tangential spraying, or rotor granulation, is used for the production of drug cores, and Wurster coating is used, often preferred, for application of rate-controlling polymer membranes to cores. A rate-controlling membrane on a rapidly dissolving core produces a reservoir system.
